dec pool slots

ok... i'll be listing down the slots and timings for the remaining days of 2007. So there shud not be any excuse to say that u dunno tat there's training.

15/12 (sat) - 11a.m. to 1p.m.
16/12 (sun) - 9a.m. to 2p.m.
17/12 (mon) - 3p.m. to 5p.m.
19/12 (wed) - 9a.m. to 2p.m.
22/12 (sat) - 11a.m. to 1p.m.
23/12 (sun) - 9a.m. to 2p.m.
24/12 (mon) - 3p.m. to 5p.m.
26/12 (wed) - 9a.m. to 2p.m.
29/12 (sat) - 11a.m. to 1p.m.
30/12 (sun) - 9a.m. to 2p.m.

The timings are still the same on sunday. For year 1s, if the new boats are here, Saturday would be a training day for u all as well. For those who might be thinking of coming down at a later time for those days with long hours of slot, u have to inform me early or else i'll not let u down. Early as in not whenslot is 9a.m. and u msg me at any time after 8, is the day before.

P.S. Dont work when there's training. or else if u cant catch up coz u miss training den it's not my fault.

AFTER common test

Take note everybody... it applies to all canoe polo players in ngee ann...

There will not be any land trainings on Monday UNTIL school reopens after the 2 weeks break, but u can self train by all means la... tat i'm not stopping...

There will be pool slot on 15 and 16 of dec. so there shudn't be any excuse about u not coming for training. Additional slots have been booked but it's not up yet. Will tell u all the alocations when i get it. (Get ready for ALMOST everyday also got slot)

TO THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO PASS ME UR JACKETS: i'll most prolly going to send it for embrodery after my papers, so if u dun pass to me before i send, ur jackets wouldn't be embrodered. It's ur job to find and pass it to me. It's free btw, so u'll be the one losing out.

ALL year 2s and 3s: bring $10 on sat for last polo fund. After tat i'm not collecting le.. cooperate ah!

Exams are round the corner so pls do study hard and smart... thus trainings are put to a stop until 15th dec and i'll arrange for weekday pool slots (update u all again when it's settled)...

To all year 1s, here's the details for the NTU 3v3 pool game:

Venue : 4th Jan 2008, 8pm - 8am, NTU swimming pool
Number of players: 4 per team

NTU will provide acrobats boats and spray decks at $10 for 4 boats and $10 for 4 spray decks, paddles are not provided.

Game Rules:
3 ppl playing with 1 sub along the side
Game play is 5min - 1min - 5min, 7min - 1min - 7min for semi-finals and finals
1 referee per game

So... go form ur teams and tell me when u're done...

jackets

ok... apparently the one who was in charge of embordering the jackets aint doing anything... so i may go ahead and do it myself... those who have yet to pass me their ivp jackets pls do so ASAP, unless u dun wan to... it's free anyways!!!

another thing is to bring $10 for polo fund... i'll be collecting it till the end of year so just gimme la hor... =)

friendly with SP

ok... be prepared to have a friendly game with SP next week (sat or sun). Time has yet to be confirmed. It'll be just to see how much we've improved since we last met them. Take this chance to see how much more has to be put in to reach our goal in the next competition.

training schedule for semester

There'll be no training tml (15/10/07) so that all of u can take a break after the camp and rest well. Wednesday's training will proceed on as usual.

This coming Saturday (20/10/07) have no pool slot due to the NP Adventure race.

As for pool slots, it'll be on Saturday and Sunday again, Sat for seniors, sun 9 - 11.30 for year 1s and sun 11.30 - 2 for seniors. I'll try to get a weekday slot so it'll be alot easier to train too.

P.S. During training time, i don't want to see anyone doing anything else besides training (e.g. playing table soccer, slacking around) and also don't want to see anyone going to the staff toilet to bathe at ANY time.

some stuff to take note

1) Those who have not pass me your IVP jackets for embrodering, pass it to me BY wednesday before land training starts. Payment wise we'll talk about it later.

2) Idemnity forms for FCC is to be handed in also BY wednesday also. Compulsory for all to attend UNLESS u got attachment. Bring $15 when u hand in the form.

3)Realised i've not collected polo fund for quite awhile? It's time again!!! Xp
Everyone except wei long, ming xue and meng, bring $10 on sunday (7/10/2007) for Sep and Oct polo fund. wei long & ming xue bring $15 (july din pay) and meng bring $20 (july and june din pay)

4)I've also sent the receipts for the IVP T-shirts already. When the money comes i'll pass it to u all (food money also). So pls have patience.

5)Pls bring a file on sunday also. So i can pass the star certs back. Dun wanna have it lying in my house coz i got very little space in my room.

*NEW training schedule for holiday

Monday: 5.30pm - 8.30pm (land)
Wednesday: 5.30pm - 8.30pm (land)
Friday: 9am - 1 pm (pool)
Saturday: 11am - 1 pm (pool)
Sunday: 9am - 2 pm (pool)

As u can see the training schedules are kind of set already. For friday and sunday pool slots, year 1s will use the first 2 hrs on each day. As for land trainings, ONLY if u have attachment/sick/injured, then u're excused, or else u'll have to come for trainings.

Lastly, any questions as to whether there'll be training or not, pls msg/call me to avoid miscommunications.

ok... here's the training schedules:

Monday - 5 p.m. (land)
Wednesday - 5.30 p.m. (land)
Thursday - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (pool)

Take note that land training will start AFTER Pestan Sukan, so all pls come (EXCEPT those with attachment). The pool slots MAY change after competition due to uneven hours, but it'll be like this meanwhile.

As for friday's slot, year 1s will come for the first 2 hrs followed by year 2s and 3s, so that transporting of boats can be done w/o anyone having to stay back just for it.

Friendlies this week

Take this friendlies seriously, coz it'll be kinda our last 2 friendlies with other teams, and can roughly know where we stand. I would advice u all to push aside any other activities u may have on this 2 days. If it's time to train hard, it shud be now (shud have been earlier to those who ain't training hard).

X-tra pool slot

Sorry for the late notice. There'll be an extra pool slot for those playing NC'07. It's on Thursday, 6.30 to 8.30. Attendence will not be taken since it's X-TRA. But i'm sure everyone would wanna use the slot. Then again, pls be serious when u're in the boat, or else u can pack up and go home.

The slots will be on 2/8 and actually that's the only day i suppose. coz 9/9 is National Day, 16/9 is study/exam week (which HIGHLY impossible to have any training that week).

For our normal trainings, it'll continue till 12/9 (Sunday).

Update about NC'07

For those who have not given me your star 1/2 certs, pls do so asap. Registration is by next monday, so it's time to save up money for Open's Cat. It's $150 for each team, no matter how many players u have. So, i'll help to fill up the forms, u all just get ready the money can already. Get it ready by Sat, just in case got some ppl forget to bring den can bring it on Sunday also. (Do the MATH urself)

ALL (especially Year 3s) to be down on Saturday, coz, i'll need to finalise the names to send in for Nat Champs(IVP and Opens). Remember to bring ur Star 1 certs too(if dun have, star 2 also can), coz they'll be checking upon registration. so those who lost theirs, u better tell Wei Zheng so he can ask SCF to print it out again. Failure to produce the certs can forget about playing le... and i'm serious about it.

This time it's with Redtide (NUS alumni). It'll be on the 5th of Aug (sunday) which is 2 weeks from now. Make sure u're free on that day. Friendly with SP may be on the 12th of Aug(sunday as well), but they have not confirm with me, so see how lor... train hard and play hard for the friendlies =)

There will be friendliy with NUS this coming Sunday (22th July), 9am - 2pm. Better make urself free ah! Still got Redtide and SP, prolly will be on Sundays also, date have yet to set. SO... don't give me any reasons as to y u cant come... projects push push to later time, dates push push to later time, birthdays push to later time... and the list goes on.

Saturday and Sunday adjustments

As stated in the nacc blog, there's game on saturday (7th July). All guys to come down, coz the soon-to-be-referees need our help. Timing for sat. is the same, 10am at the poolside, 11am den can go down. 11 - 12 is warm up, den is game already. i'm not sure how the instructor would wan the games to be, coz besides the 4 NP ppl, got 2 from SP also.

As for Sunday (8th July), year 2s will still come down at 9am, den from 10am to 12pm is for the year 1s, den year 3s from 12pm to 1pm and lastly alumni last hr. year 1s are down coz we "took" away their saturday slot.

Sunday trainings would have alumnis down. i'll see how the trainings for year 2s and 3s will be, so take the allocated slots seriously pls. if u're not intending to be serious, den dun come down. coz no point coming down and just waste the boat/slot just for u to play around.

For those who does not noe when are the training days, here's a recap:

so there shouldn't be anyone who does not noe which days have trainings le ah... come for all, supposingly all noe the reason why... unless u really cannot make it den msg me, or else i'll take it that u're coming even if u tell me the reason after tat particular training... (applies to year 1s to year 3s)

there'll be a meeting on the 14th of July (Saturday) coz there'll be afew things i would wan to adress to u all (year 2s and 3s). Do make sure u come down coz if u miss out on any important information, the only ppl u can ask are ur teamates.

As for mondays and wednesdays land training, all year 2s and year 3s who does not have attachment HAVE to come down.
