Sum things up

I believe after today friendly with TP, you guys have roughly know where you all stand.
Next week will be the last friendly before SPCPC with NUS at NP swimming pool on sat.

Basically a few pointers to take note on.
1. Passing. Try to make smart/safe passes.
2. Anticipation. Know what to do before your opponent does something.
3. Aggression. I believe a lot of people have already told you guys about this. Lack of aggression simply mean the lack of will to win the game.
4. Losing possession. Everyone should know when the team loses the ball. Meaning communicate more.
5. Play to ref call.
6. Priority to go for boat to change direction NOT for ball.
7. Fitness
8. Dont ever give up.

Basically, starting from tomorrow training will be more intensive compared to last few week so that you guys can reach the snr expection. The no waiting for other rule still apply as usual. I know it will be tiring, but just ask yourself this.

How much does winning mean to you?

As for year 2 if you dont ever buck up now, it's never.

To all Year 1 and 2s

Firstly there will comfirm be extra pool slot during the holiday period and WORK is NOT a excuse to be absent from pool slot. Dates i will let you all know after exam.

I expect 100% attendance for the up coming polo camp which i have already let you all know 3weeks in advance. As you know know all these are part of the preparation for the upcoming SPCPC and IVP.

And now on EVERYONE is suppose to be half an hour early for every single pool slot anything after that, i'll consider late.

IVP team will soon be able to use new boat so i expect you all to prove to me if you all deserve to use. And of course there will be a who deserve system to filter out those who can use and those who can't. For now train hard. Dont take for granted that you are year 2 and you will comfirm play IVP. As NP tradition strongest live weakest die.

Jrs take this chance surpass the Snrs if you can.

To all Year 1s and 2s

Excellence

Juniors,

You've been training for a long time now, some one whole year, some going on strong to 2 years. All the seniors are expecting you to improve as fast as possible during this holiday. Aim high at the better seniors, follow the good examples and remember the bad. Learn to ask questions, and no seniors will turn their backs on you.

Up to now, improvements are made at the speed of ant-crawl.

Push Harder

Push Faster

Push Your Limits

Challenge Yourself

Never settle, be ambitious, you'll never approach anything like excellence if you settle for mediocrity. Nothing is more sterile or lamentable than a man content to live within yourself and not dream further.

Look at your teammates next to you, look at the better ones. Do not be content that they're playing on your team.

Challenge them

Be the one that other look up to and be the one they challenge. To those who are already better then most, the trip up to the top probably isn't easy, its even tougher to stay on top. Never forget how good it feels to be on top, and always push yourself to stay there.

You have to fight for everything-For power, for position, whatever you want to achieve.

Never give in.
Never give in.
Never give in.
Never.
Never.
Never.
Never.

Trainings are a perfect time to learn, try and commit mistakes. Every mistake you commit, correct them. Listen. Watch. Try.

Do not wait till competition to try, watch and listen.

Seniors have achieved this much for polo.

Achieve the same, maintain, better yet, out-perform.

You represent us in the future, don't disappoint us.

Prove the people who discriminated you wrong.

Train hard.
